MANCORAD
March, 2005 Meeting Minutes
Prior to the start of the meeting (~19:15 CST), W9DK made contact on 20 Meters with John Meyer (NZ9Z), operating as V31NZ from Belize on an overseas Dxpedition. Members present passed their greetings to John and exchanged weather conditions, etc., from both locations. This is believed to be the first ever overseas DXpedition contact made as part of a club meeting. (N9NCU)
President Fred (W6BSF) called the meeting to order at 1933 CST, March 9, 2005. The Skywarn presentation by Travis (KB9YRC) had to be unfortunately postponed to the April meeting because the projector is broken. The February, 2005, meeting minutes as e-mail distributed by Fred were accepted by motion from Dan (N9FVZ) and second by Denise (N4GWK). Treasurer Dick (N9QFY) gave the treasurer’s report, which was accepted by motion from Theresa (KB9KXE) and second by Denise (N4WGK).
